Happy Holidays!

I decided to open up one gift on Christmas Eve, a Kiki's Delivery Service blanket!

This here is my adorable xmas cake! Way too cute to eat, I know, but I had no problem eating two slices since it was beyond delicious!

Everyone please enjoy your holiday with all your loved ones & have a relaxing time! Also, Happy New Years! Sending nothing but positive vibes to you all!

Muah, ♡…

Christmas treats!

I went to pick up my cute Christmas donuts from Mister Donut today. They also do a collaboration with Snoopy so they always have Snoopy goods you can't get anywhere else. This season, they have Snoopy plates & mini cups. I decided to get the plates but if you pay extra you can also receive the mini cups! I however didn't pay extra for the cups. I'm kind of tempted to go back to get them though, since I want my plates to have matching cups...

Milky Candy's 60th Anniversary

The girl's name is Peko & the boy's name is Poko.

First off, I'd like to apologize for the horrendous photos as I rushed to take them & edit them in a hurry. Bad lighting & all...

I found this ADORABLE Fujiya Peko Milky Candy tin can at the hospital's gift shop today. This year is Milky's 60th anniversary so they've been coming out with a lot of collectors items & goodies. This purchase was a must! It was around ¥850, so reasonably priced & it came with a lot of yummy treats inside. I only managed to take a picture of just two of the treats though. On the outside of the tin can, they have pictures of how the packagings used to look like when they first came out with the candy. I find their faces to be so irresistibly adorable.

His face makes me melt...

Just look at his paws...

I'm a little too obsessed with my cat but I have no shame in it.

My Christmas List

My Christmas List is so small this year! I'm content with not getting anything at all to be honest. I'm already overjoyed with moving back to Japan 4+ months ago but having this be my first Christmas back in Japan in a very long time, I feel like my grandparents/family want to make it extra special. I'm fine with just the Christmas cake we ordered though, haha.

I've been wanting to get watercolors for a long time now. I used to paint with oil paints back in Minnesota but I lost inspiration & motivation so I stopped. But since moving back to Japan I've had a big urge to pick up water-coloring. I've also painted with acrylics back in the States but I didn't have too much love for that...

Another thing I've always wanted: a bicycle with a basket. It's such a Japanese thing to have here (haha), I want one of my own. I get so envious of young adult girls riding around with their bicycles...

Moving onto my last wish-list item, I really want a long feather down jacket. I've been eyeing this certain one from Uniqlo. I know I have plenty of jackets but not a long feather down jacket! I know this item can wait so I might hold off on it but it's such a temptation!

That's pretty much it! I also wouldn't mind getting anything owl, sheep, Totoro or Kiki/Jiji related!

What is on your Christmas List this year?

A Sunday Stroll...

I thought a 'shoe appreciation' photo shot was in order since these boots trekked my body all over town today without sore feet! Thanks, shoes.

Just standing around with a big hat on my head.

Channeling my inner 5 year old. I refuse to sit properly on the horse...

I bought this Fanta Funmix Cola+Orange drink on the way home at 7Eleven. It actually tasted pretty good!

I decided to spend my Sunday afternoon walking around my town. I made a lunch stop at McDonald's. I tried this new burger they have which is basically a croquette with shrimp augratin inside & it's topped with shredded cabbage & tomato marinara sauce. I would of taken a picture but I didn't want to look like a weird person, haha. It tasted really delicious. Definitely would buy it again.

I then made a stop at the ¥100 Shop! I bought a neck warmer, arm warmers (where you insert your thumb into a cutout hole & your fingers are sticking out), a cute hair tie & a Hello Kitty letter set.

On the way home I decided to stop at the nearby shrine/park. My town is full of them so why not take advantage of it, yeah? It's so peaceful & quiet there, serene & picturesque.

It's almost 2pm & even though I feel like I got a lot done, the day isn't over yet! Hopefully I can find something else to do before dinner. (:

    On this Friday night...

I have nothing better to do on a Friday night besides taking pictures of my cat's face. He's sleeping on the chair right underneath the heater while I watch Figure Skating on tv.

    Enjoy.

p.s. Is anyone else having a problem with Blogger? On the main dashboard, it'll only show a few blogs I'm subscribed to & at other times when I refresh the page it will show every single blog I am subscribed to. Also, I unsubscribed a few people but they still show up on my main dashboard & it says I am still subscribed to them... I wish this bug would get fixed.

Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

    Mini Splurge at Kiddyland!

    01. Swimmer Matryoshka Doll Pouch - ¥788 @ Kiddyland
    02. Swimmer Drawstring Bag - ¥210 @ Kiddyland
    03. Rilakkuma Contact Case - ¥577 @ By Campus
    04. Swimmer Mori Mori Seal (stickers) - ¥294 @ Kiddyland

Today I decided to take a train down to Daito. They have a huge department store called Aeon (previously known as Jusco). What a better way to spend a cold day inside a department store rather than at home, yeah? I treated myself to some cute things like I always do whenever I go there. I made a stop at Kiddyland & By Campus. I definitely put a lot of moneys-worth there whenever I get the chance, haha. Especially since most of the stuff is reasonably priced, makes you want to spend more!

    Visit the Swimmer website here.

What do you think? Cute or childish? Maybe both? (:

    New to blogspot...

I just created this blogspot yesterday so I'm still getting adjusted. I'm here only to blog strictly about personal things. Daily journal entries to what purchases I've recently made. It'd be nice to find other friendly bloggers that will subscribe & comment on my posts, just to give me that boost of blogger confidence I need! Me being new on here & all... I've been blogging on Tumblr for a few years now so hopefully that can be of little comfort in starting on a new blogging site!
